Swap-Free Holding Fees

Islamic (swap-free) accounts pay and earn no swap or rollover interest. Positions held beyond the grace period carry a fixed administration fee per lot, per night, identical for long and short.

The fee replaces swap. It is a flat charge per lot per night, it does not move with interest rates, and it does not compound. Fees across all your open positions are added up and deducted from your trading account balance once a day. Rates run from 1% of position value a year on silver and 3% on major forex pairs up to 18% on crypto CFDs, and higher on high-interest-rate exotic pairs.

How the grace period works

The grace period runs for 5 calendar days from the day you open the position, whatever weekday that is. Once it ends the fee applies for every calendar day the position stays open, weekends included, and is deducted once daily.

How much is the commission?

The commission is a flat $6 per round-turn standard lot ($3 per side). This rate applies equally to forex, crypto CFDs, and commodities. There are no volume-based tiers or hidden charges.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. LHFX charges zero fees on deposits and withdrawals regardless of payment method, and there are no account maintenance or platform fees. Two charges apply only in specific cases: a $10/month inactivity fee after an extended period of dormancy, and, on Islamic (swap-free) accounts, a holding fee on positions held beyond the grace period. Both are published on this page.

Do spreads widen during news events?

Yes. Because LHFX passes through raw interbank spreads, they reflect live market liquidity. During high-impact news releases, central bank announcements, or low-liquidity sessions, spreads may temporarily widen. This is standard across all STP/ECN brokers.

How does STP/ECN pricing work?

STP (Straight Through Processing) and ECN (Electronic Communication Network) pricing means your orders are routed directly to the interbank market. There is no dealing desk and no spread markup. LHFX earns revenue from the flat commission, not from widening the spread.

Is the commission the same for all account sizes?

Yes. Every trader pays the same $3 per side regardless of account balance, deposit amount, or monthly volume. There are no tiered pricing structures at LHFX.
