XRPUSD opened Monday at 1.0831 and closed Friday at 1.0864, a net move of just over 30 pips higher across the week. The path was far from flat. Buyers pushed to a weekly high of 1.1272 on Wednesday before sellers stepped in and dragged price back below 1.0850, leaving the pair almost exactly where it started.
The economic calendar in the bundle is empty for the five sessions ahead, so there is no single scheduled release to anchor to. That puts the weight on price behaviour around last week's range and on cross-market flows. Early PBOC USD/CNY fixings out of Asia are the only fresh macro input on the tape, and the reference rate came in firmer than the Reuters estimate on Monday.
With no high-impact prints listed, the secondary theme is how XRPUSD tracks the wider crypto complex. A firmer or softer dollar bias out of Asia can bleed into risk appetite, and correlated coins tend to move together when there is little else to trade. Open an LHFX account to trade XRPUSD this week.
If price reclaims and holds above last Wednesday's shelf near 1.1107 early in the week, the next obvious reference is the 1.1272 weekly high. A push through there opens the round-number zone above. If the pair stays capped under 1.0900, last week's rejection pattern remains intact and the lower part of the range comes back into focus. Watch BTCUSD for confirmation, since a sharp move in Bitcoin often drags the altcoin complex with it.
LHFX client positioning shows 69.5 percent long and 30.5 percent short as of Monday morning. That is a clear long skew going into the week. Crowded long books can add fuel to a downside break if support gives way, since stretched positions get flushed faster than they build.
The 1.1272 weekly high is the upper reference. Below, last week's low at 1.0504 marks the base of the range, with 1.0864 as the Friday close acting as a nearer pivot. These are reference levels for context only, not entry signals. If price rejects the top of the range again, the 1.0669 area from Friday's session is the first zone to check.
