Where DOGEUSD stands midweek

DOGEUSD closed Wednesday at 0.0797. That is 0.0029 above Monday's 0.0768 open, a gain of 3.8% on the week so far. The high so far is 0.0801, printed Wednesday. The low is 0.0758, printed Monday. That is three higher closes in a row. The week's range measures 43 ticks.

What has driven price so far

No scheduled release or headline sits on our calendar for this week, so nothing on the data side explains the bid. The tape does. Monday opened 0.0768 and recovered from a 0.0758 dip to close 0.0776. Tuesday extended to 0.0791 and closed 0.0789. Wednesday's session has been the tightest of the three, a 0.0786 to 0.0801 band on volume of 1189 against Monday's 4805 and Tuesday's 4165. Price is grinding higher while participation thins out, which is a different kind of move from a demand-driven breakout.

What's still ahead

There is no high-impact event on the calendar for the back half of this week. Crypto does not stop for the cash close, so the next two sessions are a flow story rather than a data story. If Thursday opens above 0.0797 and holds the Wednesday low at 0.0786, the 0.0801 high is the first thing buyers have to clear. If the bid fades into Friday and 0.0786 gives way, Tuesday's 0.0765 low and the 0.0758 weekly low come back onto the chart. Thin weekend liquidity tends to widen both outcomes, and if you want a read on whether the whole asset class is moving together, Bitcoin is the reference tape.

Positioning right now

As of 28 October, 73.1% of LHFX client positioning in DOGEUSD is long and 26.9% is short. That is a heavy consensus, built into a market that has only gone one way since Monday. A crowded long book means the marginal buyer is harder to find above 0.0801. It also means a break back under 0.0786 has a supply of stops to work through. The skew tells you where the pain sits, not where price goes.

The level that matters today

0.0801 is the line. It is the week high and it capped Wednesday within four ticks of the close. Acceptance above it puts the week's advance into clean air with no prior-session reference until buyers stop showing up. The downside pivot is 0.0786, Wednesday's low, with 0.0758 as the level that would erase the week entirely. Watch which of those two gets tested first on Thursday's open, and you can track both on live pricing by opening an LHFX account.
