XAGUSD midweek: silver back near 66.67 before CPI, 2026-09-07

XAGUSD trades 66.672 on Wednesday, up 0.83% from Monday's open, with the ECB decision Thursday and US CPI Friday still to clear.

Where DOGEUSD stands midweek

DOGEUSD trades at 0.0700 as of Wednesday's close. That is down from Monday's 0.0732 open, a slide of roughly 4.4 percent on the week so far. The week's high is 0.0734, printed early Monday, and the low is 0.0687, tagged Tuesday. Price has since coiled into a tight range between 0.0694 and 0.0706.

What has driven price so far

There is no scheduled catalyst in the bundle for this week. The move has been flow-driven rather than event-driven. Monday did the damage, opening at 0.0732 and closing at 0.0702, a full drop through the 0.0700 handle. Tuesday and Wednesday have gone nowhere, with each session closing within a fraction of a cent of the last. Wednesday's volume of 848 is a fraction of Monday's 4,051, so conviction has drained out of the tape as price stalls.

What's still ahead

The bundle carries no scheduled high-impact events for the back half of this week. That puts the focus on the broader crypto tape rather than a single print. Watch how Bitcoin trades into Thursday and Friday, since DOGE tends to follow the majors when there is no coin-specific driver. If the majors hold their bid, DOGE has room to reclaim 0.0706. If they roll over, the 0.0687 low comes back into focus fast.

Positioning right now

As of Wednesday, 73.1 percent of positioning sits long against 26.9 percent short. That is a heavily one-sided book after a week of falling price. When most of the crowd is long into a decline, it points to traders buying the dip rather than the market pricing a genuine reversal. A crowded long side can become fuel for a further flush if support gives way.

The level that matters today

The 0.0700 round number is the line in play. Price is sitting right on it. If DOGEUSD holds 0.0700 and buyers step back in, the 0.0706 ceiling from this week's range is the first test. If it loses 0.0694 on a close, Tuesday's 0.0687 low is back in play and the crowded long book gets tested with it. You can track the level and set your alerts from your LHFX account.
