The week for HYPEUSD started at 59.608 on Monday and finished at 55.203 on Friday. The high came early at 60.438, and the low printed at 52.818 on Thursday. Net, price fell about 4.41 points, roughly 7.4 percent off the open. Most of the damage landed in the first three sessions before a Thursday bounce clawed back part of the loss.
No scheduled economic events or headlines accompanied this move in the bundle, so the price action was driven by flow rather than a data print. Monday set the tone with a sharp reversal from 60.438 down to a 55.711 low and a 56.063 close, a wide range that signalled sellers had control. The next two days extended the slide, with Wednesday closing at 53.877 near the weekly low.
Thursday told a different story. Price opened at 53.877, held above the 52.818 floor, and rallied to a 55.831 close. That recovery followed the broader crypto tone, where majors like Bitcoin often set the direction for smaller tokens. Friday drifted back to 55.203 on light volume of 9,925, well below the mid-week readings above 47,000, which points to thin participation into the weekly close.
The bundle carries no scheduled high-impact events for the coming week. With no calendar catalysts flagged, expect HYPEUSD to trade off broader crypto sentiment and its own order flow. If the wider market pushes higher, the Thursday recovery pattern gives a template for a retest of the upper part of the weekly range. If risk appetite fades, the Thursday low becomes the reference point sellers will test again.
Client positioning sits at 80.7 percent long against 19.3 percent short as of 2026-07-31. That is a heavy skew toward the long side after a week that fell more than 7 percent. A crowd this one-sided into a declining market can act as fuel for further downside if longs are forced to cover, since there are few sellers left to squeeze and plenty of stops below.
The Thursday low at 52.818 is the first floor. If price closes below it, the 53.077 Wednesday low is the next reference before that Thursday base. On the upside, the Friday close near 55.203 caps the immediate range, and a close above the Thursday high at 56.091 would put the 60.438 weekly high back in view. Between those, 54.004 has acted as a pivot through the week. If you want to track these levels in real time, you can follow HYPEUSD on your LHFX account.
