NAS100 midweek: index holds 30300 after soft start, 2026-09-28
NAS100 sits at 30334.37 on Wednesday, down 234.70 points from Monday's open, with the week's range still set by Monday's 30617.83 high and 30079.80 low.
3 min readETHUSD opened Monday at 1881.65 and closed Friday at 1910.47, a net gain of roughly 28.82 points, or about 1.5 percent on the week. The heavy lifting came Wednesday, when price ran from an open near 1866 up to a 1924.89 high and closed at 1905.49. That single session turned a flat start into a positive week.
The calendar carries no scheduled high-impact events for ETHUSD this week, so the story is the tape itself and broader crypto risk appetite. Last week's Wednesday breakout left price sitting near the upper end of the recent range, and the question is whether buyers can hold that ground without a fresh catalyst to lean on.
Watch the wider dollar backdrop for spillover. Headlines this morning flagged USD/JPY erasing its non-farm payrolls drop and a fresh PBOC USD/CNY reference rate estimate. A firmer dollar tends to pressure risk assets like crypto, while a softer one loosens the leash. Correlated majors such as BTCUSD often set the direction, so track that pair for early confirmation of any ETHUSD move. Open an LHFX account to trade ETHUSD this week.
If ETHUSD opens firm and holds above last week's 1910.47 close, the obvious reference above is the 1924.89 Wednesday high and then the 1938.78 high printed Friday. A clean push through that Friday high opens the round 1950 area as the next zone of interest.
If the open fails and price slips back below 1900, attention shifts to the 1889.38 Thursday low. Lose that and the mid-week base near 1866 comes back into view, with last Monday's 1825.21 low as the deeper reference if selling accelerates.
LHFX client positioning shows 62.1 percent long and 37.9 percent short as of Monday morning. That is a clear long skew. It tells you the crowd is already leaning with last week's advance, which can leave the market exposed to a shakeout if the open turns lower and long stops start to trigger.
Three reference points frame the week. Above, the 1938.78 Friday high caps last week's range. In the middle, the 1900 round number sits just under Friday's close and acts as a pivot. Below, the 1889.38 Thursday low is the first support of note. These are reference levels for context, not entry signals.
